Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport

Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is the largest airport in France, with nine terminals (Terminal 1, Terminals 2 A to G, and Terminal 3).

A free CDGVAL shuttle train connects the airport terminals to the RER-TGV train stations.

There is a once daily direct TGV train service between CDG airport and Dijon, but you will need to reserve a seat (e.g. www.voyages-sncf.com).

  • Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV: 19:58 > Dijon ville : 21:43, train number 5130

  • Dijon ville : 07:14 > Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV : 09:03, train number 5152

At other times, you should connect to the Gare de Lyon train station in Paris in order to take a TGV to Dijon [ see by rail ]. There are several options open to you to go from Paris CDG airport to Gare de Lyon:

  • Air France shuttle: Line 4 going to Paris Gare Montparnasse: http://en.lescarsairfrance.com/lignes-horaires/ligne-cdg-aeroport-paris-gare-montparnasse.htm. Shuttles depart every 30 minutes, and it is a cheap and easy option (17.5 € one-way, 26.5 € return, 1 hour ride).
  • RER train (underground/subway): You will need to buy a special ticket that allows you to also use the Metro connection. Choose a ticket to 'Paris section urbaine'. The fare is 10 € for one way. The journey duration is approximately 50 mins. Take the RER Line B to Chatelet Les Halles, then cross the platform and change to the RER Line A for Gare de Lyon. For an underground/subway map visit www.ratp.com.
  • Taxi: Approx. 60 €, +20% evenings and Sundays, plus an extra charge for luggage
