Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is the largest airport in France, with nine terminals (Terminal 1, Terminals 2 A to G, and Terminal 3). A free CDGVAL shuttle train connects the airport terminals to the RER-TGV train stations. There is a once daily direct TGV train service between CDG airport and Dijon, but you will need to reserve a seat (e.g. www.voyages-sncf.com).
At other times, you should connect to the Gare de Lyon train station in Paris in order to take a TGV to Dijon [ see by rail ]. There are several options open to you to go from Paris CDG airport to Gare de Lyon:
There are two options: 1- Take a train from the airport station. However, there is no direct train on Saturday, and only one on Sunday, leaving at 19:58. Otherwise the travel time is quite long (minimum is 4h30). The trains with a single connection, on Saturday and Sunday, leave at 6:58 8:31, 9:58, 11:58, 13:58 and 16:56. 2- Connect to the downtown-Paris Gare de Lyon train station (see above). Direct trains (1h30 to Dijon) leave on Saturday at 7:57, 8:53, 10:23, 11:23, 11:57, 12:23 and 16:53. On Sunday, the first direct train leaves at 12:23. The next direct trains leave at 13:57, 14:53, 15:57, 16:53, 17:23, 17:57, 18:23, 18:53, 19:23, 20:23 and 20:53. |
