Once in Dijon, the most convenient way to travel around the city is by tramway or bus. Tram operates every 5 to 7 minutes, from 7am to 7pm, with 2 lines (and every quarter hour up to midnight). From Dijon train station to the conference centre (Palais des Congrès / Dijon Congrexpo), please take a tram (T1) to Quetigny and alight at the Auditorium stop. The most convenient way to reach the conference venue is to fly to Paris (PAR) or Lyon-Saint Exupéry (LYS) and then take the train to Dijon.

Paris has two major airports serving international flights: Orly (ORL) and Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG). Participants can also travel to Geneva (GVA) (260km – 2hrs 45mins by road), Basel (260km – 2hrs 45mins by road), Zurich, Frankfurt or London and then travel to Dijon by train or rent a car

NOTICE: Due to construction works on the railway, the number of trains between Paris and Dijon will be reduced throughout the afternoon of Saturday 8 October and morning of Sunday 9 October. Dijon is only a few hours travel by train from the following cities:

  • Paris Gare de Lyon station : 1 hour 40 mins
  • Paris Aéroport CDG : 1 hour 45 mins
  • Lyon : 1 hour 40 mins
  • Basel : 1 hour 25 mins
  • Lausanne 2 hours
  • Zurich : 2 hours 25 mins
  • Brussels : 3 hours 45 mins
  • London : 5 hours

Direct trains from Paris Gare de Lyon station (1h30 to Dijon) leave on Saturday at 7:57, 8:53, 10:23, 11:23, 11:57, 12:23 and 16:53. On Sunday, the first direct train leaves at 12:23. The next direct trains leave at 13:57, 14:53, 15:57, 16:53, 17:23, 17:57, 18:23, 18:53, 19:23, 20:23 and 20:53.

Dijon is only a few hours drive from the following cities :

  • Lyon : 200 km - 2 hours (by A6)
  • Paris : 310 km - 3 hours (by A6)
  • Strasbourg : 330 km - 3 hours (by A36,36 then A39)
  • Marseille : 500 km - 4 hours 40 minutes (by A7 then A31)


From Switzerland :

  • Genève : 200 km - 2 hours 30 minutes (by A1 then A39)
  • Lausanne : 220 km - 2 hours 30 minutes (by A1 then A36)


From Luxembourg :

  • Luxembourg : 330 km - 33 hours (by A3 and A 31)


From Belgium :

  • Brussels : 540 km - 5 hours (by A4, A3 then A31)

Parking - there are several parking facilities in the center of the city. The Centre Clemenceau is located approximately 100 metres from the convention centre.
